Hey Threespeech, nice screens of Motorstorm. Can you try to get an exclusive story on Heavenly Sword? It’s been a while since I’ve heard anything about that game and I’m looking forward to it a lot.

Comment by aaquib — Feb 22, 2007 @ 8:21 pm
Great screenshots. Definitely the first game on my list. Just a couple of questions about it though… Does it have a split screen multiplayer option with the UK release? And can you use a steering wheel (i.e., a PS2 wheel)?

It’s looking good. I can’t wait to get my hands on this game.

Seedaripper is just right. I know ThreeSpeech is not to blame for the lack of news, and I’d like to believe that Sony does have a lot of interesting announcements they don’t want to reveal yet, but it’s getting annoying and disappointing that they keep being so quiet. We’ve been waiting for a very long time now, and we want to know more already, before we finally have the chance to buy our new system.
PS3 will launch in Europe in 28 days from now and we’ve got yet to see many games that were announced last year and haven’t been talked about again, and I myself am expecting a number of surprises prior to launch as well. I’m sure Phil Harrison will bring us a lot of news at GDC, but it’s not a public event, let alone an European event. Isn’t Sony going to do anything to build hype about the PS3 in Europe a month before release or what?
Last but not least: where are the TV adverts? It’s almost as if nothing’s going to happen. I want to see that PS3 is ready to launch in Europe, and I need to read a number of announcements and learn more about upcoming games besides the ones we’ve already seen on the Internet in the last few months.
I don’t know what’s going to happen in the next 4 weeks, but I know I want to get more excited about PS3 and I want to get more excited NOW. Bring on the news!!!

nice screenshots. Motorstorm is going to rock, especially online. I’m also very curious about Sony’s March firmware update… the hint at community features, and multitasking (what specifically?).. Throw us a bone! Keep us salivating for more. Last time we heard about this was in December.

I’m QUITE CURIOUS if we get a statement from this website to the fact that “BACKWARDS COMPABILITY IN THE EU WILL PLAY FEWER OLD GAMES THAN IN OTHER TERRITORIES” !!!
Here’s the Link :
http://www.presseportal.de/story.htx?nr=945535
another one from YAHOO :
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20070223/tc_nm/sony_playstation_europe_dc;_ylt=AjDbmlPU326p52vsCHQ.Qye9IxIF
To be honest should this be true an the back-catalogue won’t be as functional as in the other territories this would be THE MOST arrant infamy $ony had to offer in 2007!
