The PS3 is not even being launch until 2007 in Europe and Australia, and other parts of the world. To think a PS4 will be released in only 3 years after that is inconceivable, especially for Sony. Now Microsoft, I believe that they will have a new console out by then, if not sooner. Speaking of PS3 and availability, looks like mine should be on it's way within the next two weeks, if not within 24 hours. I was able to secure an online order from Gamestop today, the order status for the PS3 says usually ships within 24 hours. The listing itself said it was scheduled to ship on 12/15/06. I do not want a console every 4 years like microsoft did with xbox. (2001-2005) I want the initial hardware investment to last longer than that.
