Anyone remember TimeSplitters?

That was released on the PS2's launch day (At least in the UK) and was touted as the best PS2 launch title by far.

The differences between that game and this (apart from the obvious graphical and online play differences) is that this game has a much more solid storyline.

The multiplayer has really great gameplay. Its fluid and the loading times are far away from unbearable. The true beauty, however, comes from the ridiculously vast environments in the game. I've finished the Normal mode and have started on Hard already (obviously!).

In the multiplayer you get medals after every match for headshots, 3 kills in a row, 5 kills... And with these medals you also gain EXP points. From the EXP points, you go up in rank, which then later allows you to customize the look of your character, by using different kinds of camo, hats, faces, accesories, etc.

It makes you want to keep playing, and is a game youll still be playing 2 years down the road even if it was the very first game you bought. Cheers to Insomniac!

This game looks freakin' awesome and I'm pleased to hear the multiplayer has been handled well. Perhaps a few more screens of the other enemies.
As regards Killzone, I'm sure we'll see it when the devs are good and ready, and I hope the news breaks here!

How about some screenshots of Killzone PS3 or something that's not out yet? Warhawk would be nice, looking forward to seeing how it's coming along. At least in the US, Resistance is already out and you can get hundreds of screenshots and videos on all the big sites like IGN or Gamespot. Is this primarily a European focused blog, or are any of the writers in the US?
